A collection of 10 tutor time or PSHE activities for Men’s Mental Health Month, designed for Key Stage 4 and 5 students.
The activities use a range of media and discussion-based resources, including short films, songs and social videos, to explore themes such as mental health, stigma, suicide and emotional vulnerability.
Students will take part in tasks focused on creating safe spaces for conversation, personal reflection and developing healthy strategies to support mental wellbeing.
Resources used:
Jah Digga – “Broken Blokes”
YoungMinds – A conversation about mental health led by our Ambassador, Cacherel Mirjah Mercer.
Norwich City Football Club – “Check In on Those Around You”
A View From a Bridge- What it means to be a friend.
These external resources are for educational use and can be accessed for free. The full paid resource includes all ten activities, exploring negative thoughts, scenario-based discussions, wellbeing strategies, and ways to challenge stigma and support positive mental health.
